Common Chimney issues we repair
• Flashing failures: The flashing where your chimney meets the roof is the most frequent point of water entry. We reseal or replace flashing to prevent infiltration.
• Brick and mortar deterioration: Brick is porous and absorbs water. Freeze-thaw cycles crack mortar joints over time. We tuckpoint and waterproof as needed.
• Liner issues: An improperly lined chimney can allow condensation to build up inside the flue, causing water damage to interior walls. We install and repair chimney liners.
• Cap and crown damage: A missing or cracked chimney cap lets water, snow, and debris directly into the flue.
