Apex Roofing Company has been protecting homes and businesses in the Estes Valley and surrounding areas since 1981. Founded by Kevin Christopher and now operated by his son-in-law and daughter Jonathan and Ellie Light, Apex is still the same family-owned company it has always been.
We are the longest-established roofing company in the Estes Valley and surrounding areas, and we've spent over 40 years learning exactly what it takes to build and maintain roofs that withstand snow and ice, intense sun, and the intense wind.

Our Roots in the Community
Over 40 years in the Estes Valley have helped us built relationships as much as roofs. We have worked with the Town of Estes Park, the Estes Park Public Library, the Alpine Visitor Center in Rocky Mountain National Park, the YMCA of the Rockies, and St. Malo's Catholic Church. We have roofed homes for multiple generations of the same families, watched this community grow through some of its hardest moments — including the 2013 floods and the 2020 East Troublesome Fire — and you can even find us in the Rooftop Rodeo Parade.

Apex Roofing is a family business, and that shows in how we operate. Jonathan Light owns the company and there's a good chance that he will be the one you talk to about your roofing needs. Sarah runs the office and keeps everything moving, from scheduling your free estimate to making sure your project stays on track. And Fred, our foreman, has been in the roofing trade for decades and leads every crew with the same high standards we've held since day one.
